The IR Biotyper 4.0 software package turns FT-IR isolate spectra into visual clusters and answers the main question of infection control - is it a single strain?
Request a quotationThe software manages measurements in IR Biotyper, compares spectral profiles by PCA and LDA, and classifies isolates using neural networks and the reference vector method. Results are shown during the run in the color scheme and are available as dendrograms, distance matrices and 2D/3D graphs; MALDI Biotyper identifications are imported, and MALDI Biotyper identifications are imported. The final data is uploaded to LIMS.
The package runs Windows 10 and requires OPUS 8.2 or higher with OPUS/IT, OPUS/MAP and OPUS/SEARCH licenses; it includes one user license; it supports unlimited metadata of isolates for epidemiological studies; it is not intended for clinical diagnosis.

- Selection of spectral area of analysis: polysaccharides, proteins or fatty acids
Classification
- Trained classifiers based on artificial neural networks and the method of reference vectors
- The result of the classification is displayed immediately after the measurement of the spot in the green-yellow-red color scheme.
- Built-in classifiers are regularly updated by the manufacturer
Working with data
- Unlimited isolate metadata: virulence factors, resistance, location and date of isolation
- Import of Identity MALDI Biotyper
- Exporting results to LIMS
