UniColl are disposable Zinexts companion tubes with a buffer built into the lid: one turn triggers sample stabilization without separate sample preparation.
When collecting a sample (stomach - UniColl Stool, cervical / vaginal swab - UniColl Cervical), turning the lid releases a built-in buffer that mixes with the sample and stabilizes the nucleic acids for subsequent molecular analysis. Hermetic design and compatibility with standard laboratory equipment simplify. transport and storage of the sample prior to extraction.
UniColl Stool is designed to collect and preserve a stool sample with a buffer optimized for microbial profiling. UniColl Cervical is designed for cervical/vaginal samples and stabilizes cells' DNA/RNA for cancer and other molecular tests; a swab tampon for smearing is not included and selected separately. Disposable and compatible with standard centrifuges and vortex mixers.
