Selection of material from a living cell while preserving the spatial and morphological context
confocal imaging, incubation on site and communication with SU10 delivery
Single Cellome SS2000 is an automated subcellular selection system that preserves the spatial and morphological context of each selected cell.
SS2000 combines confocal imaging, target recognition and nanopipet selection from a given area of the cell. Built-in incubation supports the viability of the sample, and the resulting material can be sent for genetic or other molecular analysis with reference to the original image.
The workflow includes nanopipetta input, ion current surface detection, penetration, programmable selection and extraction. The system supports time-lapse and selection after delivery of SU10 reagents; specific configuration parameters, consumables and compatible analytical protocols are determined by the project.
