Vertical camera for electrophoresis omniPAGE series

High-resolution separation of proteins and nucleic acids in PAAS: up to 300 samples per run

Product overview

High-resolution separation of proteins and nucleic acids in PAAS: up to 300 samples per run

with a two-purpose module for pouring and running and membrane transfer modules

Cleaver Scientific omniPAGE is a modular line of vertical chambers for high-resolution separation of proteins and nucleic acids in a polyacrylamide gel. The executive card combines the Mini, Mini Wide and WAVE Maxi formats without creating separate almost identical positions.

The dual-purpose PAGE module is used for both pouring and running, so the brittle gel doesn't have to be moved between individual cassettes. Sliding clamps and cast silicone seals provide fast sealed assembly. Up to four homemade gels are launched simultaneously; the Mini is compatible with common precast formats. Interchangeable modules extend the platform to 2D electrophoresis, isoelectric focusing and western blotting. Passive cooling packs stabilize the temperature of long runs without an external chiller.

Main formats: Mini with an active gel 8×8.5 cm, Mini Wide 18×8 cm and WAVE Maxi 16×17.5 cm; extended Maxi Plus uses a gel 28×20 cm Mini and Mini Wide have body dimensions 19×13×15 and 26×16×16 cm, buffer capacity 250–1200 and 600–2800 ml respectively. Mini capacity – up to 80 samples (20 per gel), Mini Wide and WAVE – up to 192 samples (48 per gel), Maxi Plus up to 300 samples. 0.75; 1; 1.5 and 2 mm thick combs are available, including options for multi-channel pipettes. Mini allows up to four handcast gels or two precast gels, and the line supports integrated and separate wet and semi-dry transport modules.
