Autonomous operation without a computer, up to six variants of the UV transilluminator
Cleaver Scientific microDOC is a compact entry-level gel documenting system. A 24.1 MP memory card recording camera allows you to take pictures of gels and autodiographic films without connecting to a computer, and an 8-inch TFT screen gives you a preview of the frame before saving.
The system is built around a digital camera with a CMOS sensor and an image processor mounted on a lightweight casing with internal lighting and a door. The frame can be pre-rated on an integrated 8-inch LCD display, and the picture can be saved to an SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card without a PC connection - convenient with a limited space and budget. The microswitch disables the UV transilluminator when the casing is opened, protecting the user from radiation. The device comes as a separate camera with a dark room casing (including a simplified version of BASIC with an 18 MP camera without a screen and a safety switch) or complete with one of the UV transilluminators and image analysis software CLIQS 1D.
Camera - CMOS sensor with DIGIC 4+ processor, Canon EF/EF-S 18-55 mm lens, effective resolution 24.1 MP, aperture F/2.8(W)-F/5.6(H), shutter speed 30-1/4000 s, memory card SD, SDHC, SDXC (UHS Speed Class 1). Dark room camera: internal illumination 2×3 W LED, protective door switch, weight 7.7 kg, dimensions with the camera 29×32.5×51.5 cm and without it 29×32.5×49.6 cm, power 110-220 V. Screen - 8-inch TFT, resolution 1924×768 points, brightness 300 cd / mm2, contrast 450:1, NTSC / PAL modes. Basic version of BASIC is equipped with a camera with a resolution of 18 MP, removable (lift-off) casing without screen and protective switch.
