Septs for Honor Genetic Analyzers
Septs for 96-well Honor Analyzer Microplates
Septs are sealing pads on 96-well plates of Honor genetic analyzers, protecting samples from evaporation during electrophoresis.
Request a quotationThe sept is mounted on top of a 96-well plate with samples prepared and closes the holes before loading into the device. When automatically injected, the capillaries pierce the septum and collect the sample without removing it, which reduces the risk of evaporation and cross-contamination between the holes.
A separate official Sept card for Honor devices is not found in available sources, and the purpose and format (under the 96-well microplate) are confirmed by the initial classification and typical design of the autosampler of capillary genetic analyzers of this class.
Purpose
- Close the holes of the 96-well plate, reducing the evaporation of the sample before electrophoresis
- Punctured with capillaries needles when automatically entering the sample, without requiring removal before starting
