Septs for 96-well Honor Analyzer Microplates

Septs are sealing pads on 96-well plates of Honor genetic analyzers, protecting samples from evaporation during electrophoresis.

The sept is mounted on top of a 96-well plate with samples prepared and closes the holes before loading into the device. When automatically injected, the capillaries pierce the septum and collect the sample without removing it, which reduces the risk of evaporation and cross-contamination between the holes.
