SPLInsertTM is a membrane culture insert for reproducible studies of transport, migration, invasion and co-culture of cells.

Polyester (PET) or polycarbonate (PC) membranes, pore sizes 0.4; 3.0 and 8.0 μm, nominal thickness of about 10–23 μm Suspension formats: 6/12/24-well, growth area 4.52/0.92/0.33 cm2; standing: 6/24-well, 4.06/0.60 cm2. PS or PET frame depending on the series; sterile options.
Membranes
- Track membranes with controlled pore size and density: 0.4, 3.0 and 8.0 μm
- Polyester (PET) – high chemical resistance and low protein binding
- Polycarbonate (PC) – not stained, low background signal
- Nominal thickness of the membrane is about 10–23 μm
Formats
- Hanging – the insert rests on the edges of the hole
- Standing performance (Standing) - the insert stands on three supports at the bottom of the hole, closer to the monolayer
- Formats for 6-, 12- and 24-well microplates, including separate inserts without a microplate (Insert Only)
