6-well culture microplate SPL is a standard format for parallel work with cell cultures and reproducible staging of series of experiments.
The lid design supports gas exchange and reduces the risk of cross-contamination; alphanumeric marking speeds navigation; and treated and untreated surface options, sterile and non-sterile designs are available.
6 wells; transparent polystyrene; standard microplate size of about 85.4×127.6×14.4 mm. For the basic flat-bottomed version, the growth area is 9.60 cm2 and the working volume is 3.00 ml per well. The official TDS indicates compliance with the geometry of ANSI and the material test according to USP Class VI; functional tests include sterility, cytotoxicity, pyrogenicity and No DNase/RNase.
