Preparing a DNA library in 10 minutes: the choice between maximum yield and speed
Ligase, Rapid and Barcoding Chemistry for Native and Amplified DNA
Oxford Nanopore Ligas, Rapid and Barcoded Library Preparation Kits offer a choice between maximum output, speed and multiplexing.
Ligas sets keep the length of the input fragments and are oriented towards high yield; Rapid chemistry reduces preparation to about 10 minutes; barcoding combines several samples in one cell. The choice of set depends on the type of sample and the depth required.
In the official line: Ligation Sequencing Kit - about 60 minutes and about 1 μg gDNA; Rapid Sequencing Kit - about 10 minutes and about 200 ng gDNA; Rapid PCR Barcoding - about 15 minutes plus PCR and 1-5 ng gDNA. Compatibility is checked according to the pore and chemistry version.
