AI-based image analysis and barcode recognition for 11 Petrifilm plate formats
Petrifilm Plate Reader Advanced automatically counts colonies on Petrifilm counting plates in seconds, replacing manual visual accounting.
The device analyzes the image of the plate using trained models of artificial intelligence and produces a counting result in no more than 6 seconds, processing up to 900 plates per hour. 11 Petrifilm plate formats are supported - from Aerobic Count and Coliform Count to Rapid versions, Enterobacteriaceae Count, Staph Express Count and Staph Express Disk. This covers the control of aerobic seeding, coliforms, E. coli, Enterobacteriaceae, Staphylococcus aureus, lactic acid bacteria, yeast and mold.
The barcode of the sample is recognized in 10 different symbols for automatic binding of the result. The data is processed in the Petrifilm Plate Manager software, which generates one-time and regular reports, graphs in real time and uploads the results to LIMS. Power supply of the device 110/220 V, dimensions 213 × 218 × 257 mm.
