Identification Analyzer and AST Meihua MA120

Automatic identification of microorganisms and sensitivity determination on 120-well maps

Product overview

Automatic identification of microorganisms and sensitivity determination on 120-well maps

up to 1000 microorganisms and 200 antibiotics, WHONET support

Meihua MA120 is an automated system for identifying microorganisms and determining sensitivity to antimicrobials for the clinical microbiology laboratory.

The analyzer reads 120-well maps: identification is colorimetric, sensitivity is turbidity change. The built-in software generates and interprets results, supports LIS and WHONET; the expert system is designed to identify significant resistance phenotypes, including MRSA, VRE, CRE and ESBL.

The official description indicates a base of up to 1000 microorganisms and 200 antibiotics, compatibility with 120-well test cards, a separate microplate loader and a 7-inch screen. Power supply - 220-240 V, 50 Hz; power - 250 W; operating temperature - 5-40 °C, relative humidity - 20-80%, atmospheric pressure - 76-106 kPa. The panels and interpretation criteria should be confirmed for the specific version of the software and the region of delivery.
