The MEDITE S180 hand sled microtome combines precise mechanics, smooth running and clear manual settings for routine and research paraffin microtomies.
The S180 is designed to produce paraffin slices in histology, research and industrial control. X/Y orientation helps to quickly align the block, and scales on regulators allow you to visually specify the thickness of the slice and the feed. A removable pallet collects waste and facilitates daily cleaning. The blade holder is equipped with a noticeable red color. a protective element for the fingers; the available brake fixes the mechanism during safe operation and maintenance.
The cut thickness range is 0-15 μm in increments of 1 μm and 15-60 μm in increments of 5 μm. Automatic feeding 0-60 μm; sample flow 30 mm; maximum sample size 50 × 70 × 20 mm; orientation ±8°. Cutting stroke length 180 mm. Dimensions 150 × 450 × 200 mm, weight 18 kg. Catalog number 03-4300-00.
