MEDITE M650 is a floor cryostat with a high-precision semi-automatic microtom and additional cooling directly in the sample fixation zone for stable preparation of frozen slices.

The cryostat is designed for urgent histology and research tasks requiring frozen slices. The LED-controlled camera is equipped with a guide for pre-freezing samples and two separate fast-cooling positions. Horizontal feeding and retraction of the sample are motorized, and the orientation of the holder is It's three-axis controlled. The camera is covered with heated, safe glass; automatic and manual defrosting, UV disinfection, condensation drainage, and separate microtome and cooling touch panels; the M650 version is complemented by concentrated cooling of the clamp object, heated armrests and leg supports.
