eCep is a heated tweezer for gently positioning paraffinized samples without overheating the handle.
Only the working tip is heated, so the paraffin residues melt locally, and the risk of tissue transfer and discomfort to the operator is reduced. Several sizes of the tip are available.
The diameters of the tip are 0.5; 1; 2 and 4 mm; operating temperature is 65–75 °C, maximum is +75 °C. The control unit is 123×162×57 mm, the system weight is about 1.1 kg; power supply is 115/230 V, 50–60 Hz.

Principle of work
- Only the working tip of the tweezers is heated, so the handle remains comfortably cool.
- Local heating melts paraffin residues and reduces the risk of tissue damage
- The tip is heated to 65–68 °C
Connection flexibility
- The control unit is equipped with two connectors for simultaneous operation of two users
- Tweezers and control unit are available both in the set and separately
- The tips can also be connected to the TES 99 station dosing module.
