Product overview

Flexible Cell Laboratory Base: From Vial to Barrier Models on Membrane Inserts

bottles 12.5-225 cm2, dishes Ø35-150 mm, inserts for 6/12/24-well microplates

SPL vials, culture dishes, and inserts form the flexible basis of the cell lab – from standard culture maintenance to barrier research, transport, migration, and co-cultivation.

Vial growth areas help to scale the culture, dishes provide convenient access and visual control, and membrane inserts share the apical and basolateral compartments, complemented by scrapers for careful mechanical removal of cells and mesh filters for preparing homogeneous cell suspensions before inoculation or analysis.

Polystyrene SPL culture vials are available with a growth area of 12.5; 25; 75; 175 and 225 cm2, treated or untreated surface, sealed or filtered cover. Dishes come in multiple diameters and growth areas. Suspension inserts for 6-, 12- and 24-well microplates are equipped with track-etched PC or PET membranes with pores of 0.4, 3.0 or 8.0 µm. Cell filters use a 40, 70 or 100 μm nylon grid and are suitable for 50 ml conical tubes SPL. The exact variant of sterility, surface and packaging is determined by the catalog number.
