Product overview

Five Neogen Platforms to Control Microflora, Pathogens, Allergens and Mycotoxins

Petrifilm, Soleris, Reveal, ANSR and Veratox ranges for food and cosmetic products

Neogen’s test system range combines five technology platforms – Petrifilm, Soleris, Reveal, ANSR and Veratox – to control tracer microflora, pathogens, allergens and mycotoxins in food, feed and cosmetic products.

Petrifilm is a pre-made counting plate for manual or automatic (in the Petrifilm Plate Reader) tracking of indicator microorganisms. Soleris is a liquid nutrient medium vial for optical growth detection in Soleris Next Generation devices, a result of 14-18 hours for most tests. Reveal is a lateral test strips for lateral growth detection. Flow: 5 minutes for allergens, 3-6 minutes for natural toxins and 8 hours to day for pathogens (Salmonella, Listeria, E. coli O157:H7). ANSR isothermal DNA amplification with a result of 10 minutes after enrichment for Salmonella, Listeria spp., Listeria monocytogenes, E. coli O157:H7 and Campylobacter. Veratox - quantitative ELAS kits 48 tests (38 for histamine and aflatoxin M1) with a result of 30-45 minutes for gluten, milk, soybeans, almonds, eggs, peanuts, walnuts, sesame, crustaceans, mustard, hazelnut, coconut, cashew, DON, aflatoxin M1 and histamine.

Platforms complement each other in speed and depth of analysis: Petrifilm and Soleris close indicator microbiology, Reveal and ANSR - rapid screening of pathogens at different levels of sensitivity and labor intensity, Veratox - quantitative control of allergens and mycotoxins by ELISA method. All lines are used in food, feed and cosmetics. industry.
