Agarose, DNA and protein markers, combs and tips for gel electrophoresis and blotting

Product overview

Agarose, DNA and protein markers, combs and tips for gel electrophoresis and blotting

a set of consumables of the CleverGEL line for the daily work of the laboratory

Cleaver Scientific offers a set of consumables for gel electrophoresis and blotting: several types of CleverGEL agarose, ready-made DNA and protein markers, color-coded combs, sample tips and self-adhesive IdentiTapes labeling tapes.

The line of supplies covers the basic daily needs of the molecular laboratory. CleverGEL agarose comes in several modifications - from universal Low EEO to high-resolution PCR-grade, light melt for nucleic acid isolation and tablet for quick preparation of the gel. Ready-to-use DNA markers. The four-band and Pink Plus and Blue Wide Range protein markers contain an indicator dye and do not require additional preparation before application. The combs come in four color-coded thicknesses for preparative and high-resolution tasks, and the tips for applying samples in three versions facilitate the loading of thin PAGEs and the combing of the comb. IdentiTapes self-adhesive tapes are used to mark test tubes and samples, including storage at negative temperatures.

CleverGEL Low EEO agarose: melting point 88±1.5 °C, gelation point 36±1.5 °C, gel strength >1200 g/cm² (1% gel). High Resolution: melting ≤70 °C, strength ≥750 g/cm² (1.5% gel), fragment resolution 20–800 bp. Low Melting Point: melting ≤65 °C, gelation 26–30 °C, for fragments from 200 bp to 25 kb. DNA markers CSL-MDNA-50BP/100BP/100BPH/1KBPLUS cover 50–1500, 100–1500, 100–3000 bp and 100 bp–10 kb; load 5 µL/well, storage 6 months at 25 °C or 12 months at 4 °C. Protein markers CSL-PPL (10–175 kDa) and CSL-BBL (10–245 kDa) are loaded at 2.5–5 µL/well. Combs have thicknesses 0.75/1.0/1.5/2.0 mm, color coded black/white/red/blue. Sample-loading tips use a 33 mm microcapillary for 5 µL and tip diameters 0.57, 0.37 and 0.17 mm. IdentiTapes withstand −20…+121 °C and can be marked with a ballpoint pen, pencil or marker.
