A line of biochemical panels and test cards for identifying microorganisms: ready-made Biolog panels for yeast, fungi, anaerobic and aerobic bacteria, 120-well Meihua MA120-SE test cards for streptococci and enterococci, as well as classic Erba MIKROLATEST ID kits for a wide range of bacteria and yeasts.

Each line forms a metabolic or biochemical fingerprint of a microorganism: Biolog panels are incubated and read on Odin or ID Station devices, Meihua MA120-SE test cards are processed on the MA120 analyzer, and Erba MIKROLATEST ID sets are evaluated manually or programmatically after incubation on shared microplates. The panel or set depends on the group of microorganisms and the equipment already installed in the laboratory.

Biolog panels are 96-well microplates with ready-made dry substrates (94-95 tests, 100 μl/well inoculate, storage 2-8 ° C. Meihua MA120-SE test card is a 120-well map for the MA120 analyzer, specialized in streptococci and enterococci. Erba MIKROLATEST ID sets are made on shared microplates with 1-3 stripes (12/6/4 strain) and The test consists of 20 to 288 tests depending on the set; the result is read in 4 to 48 hours depending on the group of microorganisms and the protocol.

Erba MIKROLATEST ID kits

• Microplates divided into 1, 2 or 3 stripes: 12, 6 or 4 strains per microplate, respectively
• Reagent-free kits (ENTEROtest 24 N, STAPHYtest 24, NEFERMtest 24 and others) and sets with individual reagents
• Results are read manually or automatically with a software evaluation after 4–48 hours of incubation, depending on the set.
