Dyes for differential staining of chromosomes Servicebio

Reagents for G-, Q- and R-differential staining of chromosomal preparations

Product overview

Reagents for G-, Q- and R-differential staining of chromosomal preparations

trypsin and Gimza dye for the standard trypsin-Gimza technique (G-banding)

Servicebio offers a set for modified Gimsa staining and trypsin solutions - reagents for differential chromosome staining by trypsin-Gimsa method during karyotyping.

Trypsin solutions process chromosomal preparations before staining, loosening the structure of chromatin, and the Gimza dye forms a characteristic striped pattern (G-banding), which is used to identify chromosomes and identify structural rearrangements during karyotyping.

The lineup includes a modified Gimsa staining kit and 0.25% trypsin solutions in a phosphate-salt buffer (PBS) or D-Hank's solution, with a phenol-rot indicator, with or without EDTA.
