Directed incoming and downstream airflows, combined with ULPA filtration, form a protective barrier to the operator, sample and environment; the fan on the ECM motor maintains a stable flow rate during voltage fluctuations.

The JB series is EN 12469 certified for Type A2 class II and is suitable for BSL-1-BSL-3 biosafety work; the ULPA filter removes 99.999 % particles of 0.1-0.3 μm size, and the noise level is about 55 dB.
