with patented spherical illumination and modular colony counting software
SphereFlash® is an automatic IUL colony counter with a patented spherical lighting system and software modules for the quantitative analysis of colonies and inhibition zones.
The movable light sphere covers the work area from outside light and generates uniform light from above, below or simultaneously, reducing glare on dishes and colonies. The camera takes an image, after which the software automatically reads CFU, processes spiral crops, stores images and results, generates reports. Depending on the license, Colonies LITE/PRO, Halos PRO and the SphereFlash AI cloud module are available; the system works with round dishes and alternative media via adapters.
The device dimensions are 288 × 220 × 371 mm, weight 5.5 kg; connection to a PC via free USB 3.0. Full HD 1920 × 1080, 8 GB RAM display and processor with PassMark CPU Mark approximately 2500-8000. SphereFlash AI requires Windows 10/11 x64 and the Internet; local Colonies LITE/PRO and Halos PRO support Windows 7, 8.1, 10 and 11 x64. Free space: 100MB for AI; for a local application of 100MB plus about 10GB of base on 5000 image results. Available adapters for cups of approximately 87-91, 65-70 and 54-60 mm, Compact Dry, Petrifilm and MC-Media.
