Laser for Hamilton Thorne Lykos Auxiliary Hatching

Product overview

Clinical laser for hatching and embryo biopsy with optional dynamic beam guidance DTS

fixed LYKOS execution and computer-guided LYKOS DTS execution

LYKOS is a clinical laser for assisted hatching and embryo biopsy, available in fixed design and in DTS execution with computer-guided beams along a given trajectory.

Hamilton Thorne's LYKOS laser comes in the Gynemed range and is used for assisted hatching, pellucide thinning and embryonic biopsy (blastomer and trophectoderm). The 40x lens-based laser module is compatible with most inverted microscopes. The RED-i target designator is visible through the eyepieces and on the screen. Isothermal rings display the expected hole size and maximum temperature. The LYKOS DTS execution additionally provides a dynamic targeting system with a choice of laser trajectory, automatic calibration upon initialization, and the formation of quality control reports with trend graphs — these are the types of systems that are designed to be used to control the impact of the laser. There are no fixed functions in LYKOS.

LYKOS uses a solid-state infrared diode laser with a wavelength of 1460 nm and a power of 300 mW, safety class 1. In clinical mode, three fixed pulse durations are available - 200, 400 and 600 μs; in Multipulse mode - a series of pulses lasting 1-3000 μs at an average power of 10 mW. Dimensions of the laser module: LYKOS (fixed) – 42×32×32 mm, LYKOS DTS – 42×34×34 mm Power – 100–240 V AC; HT Laser 6 software runs Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 and supports several languages, including Russian.
