Osmolyte microsamples from 2 μl by vapor pressure in ~90 seconds

Osmolyte microsamples from 2 μl by vapor pressure in ~90 seconds
for serum, urine and other biological and technological fluids
Vapro 5600 is an ELITech vapor-phase osmometer to determine the osmolality of microsamples with a volume of 2 μl. The method of reducing vapor pressure allows you to examine viscous samples and suspensions without interference associated with freezing; a typical measurement takes about 90 seconds.
The device determines the osmolality of the dew point temperature reduction over a sample in equilibrium at room temperature, is designed for serum, urine and other biological or process fluids and is suitable for clinical, research and pharmaceutical applications. The standard holder takes 10 µL; holders for 2, 20 and 60 µL are also available. Automatic calibration, thermocouple self-cleaning, self-diagnostics, statistical functions and transfer of results to the computer support a standardized workflow.
Model 5600: Vapour pressure osmometry, recording dew point temperature drops. Nominal sample volume is 10 μl; optionally 2, 20 or 60 μl. Range is 20–3200 mOsm/kg, with XR expansion to 3,500 mmol/kg. Typical analysis time is about 90 s; resolution is 1 mmol/kg; repeatability is 2 mmol/kg SD. Display is monochrome LCD 240×128 with backlit dimensions 20×28×36 cm; weight 6.8 kg Power 100–240 V, 50–60 Hz; maximum power consumption 40 W.
