SKYSCAN 1276 CMOS Edition

Product overview

Lifetime 3D visualization of small animals with a resolution of up to 6 microns on a desktop appliance

16 MP sCMOS detector, non-destructive scanning without sample preparation

High-performance desktop micro-CT for longitudinal in vivo studies and detailed ex vivo imaging.

SKYSCAN 1276 performs non-destructive three-dimensional examination of small laboratory animals and biological samples. The system supports continuous and step-by-step scanning, variable magnification, physiological monitoring and synchronization with breathing or ECG; complete software is used for reconstruction, alignment and reconstitution. Quantitative analysis of data.

The minimum pixel size is 2.8 μm, the distinguishable part is 6 μm with a contrast of more than 10%. The scanning area reaches 75 mm in diameter and 310 mm in length, the total volume of one scan is up to 7 800 × 7 800 × 2 500 voxels. The manufacturer's materials stated the fast scan time of 3.9 s and 16 megapixel CMOS detector.
