SKYSCAN 1276 CMOS Edition
Lifetime 3D visualization of small animals with a resolution of up to 6 microns on a desktop appliance
High-performance desktop micro-CT for longitudinal in vivo studies and detailed ex vivo imaging.
Request a quotationSKYSCAN 1276 performs non-destructive three-dimensional examination of small laboratory animals and biological samples. The system supports continuous and step-by-step scanning, variable magnification, physiological monitoring and synchronization with breathing or ECG; complete software is used for reconstruction, alignment and reconstitution. Quantitative analysis of data.
The minimum pixel size is 2.8 μm, the distinguishable part is 6 μm with a contrast of more than 10%. The scanning area reaches 75 mm in diameter and 310 mm in length, the total volume of one scan is up to 7 800 × 7 800 × 2 500 voxels. The manufacturer's materials stated the fast scan time of 3.9 s and 16 megapixel CMOS detector.
Resolution and speed
- The 16-megapixel sCMOS detector with extended field of view and increased sensitivity reduces scan time by up to two times compared to the previous generation.
- Native image resolution up to 7,800×7,800 pixels per slice allows you to zoom in on any section of the 3D volume without re-scanning.
- Clean Image mode reduces typical CT artifacts already in the shooting stage, without additional post-processing
Lifetime visualization of animals
- Interchangeable multimodal cassettes for animals with anesthesia mask, ECG electrodes and temperature sensor, a single connector for fast connection
- Built-in physiological monitoring: 5 MP video surveillance with real-time motion detection, ECG, breathing, temperature stabilization
- Real-time screen dosimeter; patented low-dose filter reduces dose by 2-3 times without loss of image quality
3D.SUITE Software
- NRECON – reconstruction of 2D projections in 3D volume with GPU acceleration, up to 10 times faster than CPU reconstruction; support for circular and spiral shooting
- DataViewer, CTVox, CTAn and CTVol – post-slice viewing, volume rendering, quantitative analysis and surface modeling with export to STL
- GLP with three levels of user rights to meet good laboratory practice requirements
