Identification panel GEN III MicroPlate

Product overview

94 biochemical tests to identify aerobic bacteria on a single 96-well plate

Carbon Recycling and Chemical Sensitivity Panel for Odin and ID Station

Biolog GEN III MicroPlate is a standardized 96-well panel for phenotypic identification of a wide range of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. One test forms an informative metabolic fingerprint from 94 parallel reactions.

Pure culture is suspended in the recommended inoculation fluid, 100 μl in the well and incubated. Reconstitution of tetrazolia dye turns active wells into purple; the formed profile is compared by Biolog software with a species base. The panel is compatible with automated Odin systems and Semi-automatic ID Station and is suitable for research identification of environmental, manufacturing and other isolates.

The panel contains 94 phenotypic tests: 71 carbon source recovery reactions and 23 chemical sensitivity tests; nutrients and biochemical substrates are pre-dried in 96 wells; Inoculate volume is 100 μl per well; Storage is 2-8 °C in intact packaging; room temperature is allowed up to 12 during transportation. 10 panels each, catalog 1030, for research purposes only, not for in vitro diagnostics of human beings, and the specific protocol A, B, C1 or C2 is selected according to the type and physiology of culture according to IFU.
