Anaerobic cameras Biolog AS-500 and AS-150

Product overview

Oxygen-free gloves chambers: 144 or 500 cups in built-in incubator

compact AS-150 and modular AS-500 with instrument modules and hypoxia option

Biolog’s anaerobic cameras create a continuous, oxygen-free working environment for isolating, cultivating and investigating demanding anaerobes. The lineup includes a compact AS-150 for routine operation and a modular AS-500 for large flow and placement of analytical equipment inside the chamber.

Both models use InstaSleeve’s glove-free access and vacuum-independent airlock to introduce materials without disturbing the atmosphere. The built-in separate incubator allows you to maintain the work area at room temperature. AS-500 additionally offers a digital oxygen sensor, HEPA and chemical filtration, self-regenerating. palladium catalyst, automatic inner gate and connection of up to two expansion modules or instrument modules; the instrument module can accommodate, for example, Odin VIII. Hypoxia option for AS-500 provides a controlled oxygen concentration of 0.1-10 % for microaerophilic cultures.

AS-500: standard housing 155 × 81 × 99 cm, working surface 107 × 71 cm, weight about 136 kg; incubator for 500 dishes, range from room temperature to 45 °C, stability ±1.0 °C and installation in increments of 0.1 °C; automatic vacuum-independent airlock cycle about 3 minutes; power 120-240 V, 50/60 Hz, 1300 W. AS-150: housing 124 × 64 × 64 cm, working surface 91 × 58 cm, weight about 91 kg; incubator 144 dishes, range from room temperature to 45 °C, stability ±1.0 °C and resolution 0.1 °C; airlock cycle about 2 minutes; power 120/240 V, 50/60 Hz, 720 W. Configuration, gas mixture, modules and service requirements should be confirmed in the design of the laboratory.
