A ductless recirculating hood with carbon filtration for a specific chemical

A ductless recirculating hood with carbon filtration for a specific chemical
three versions in width - 75, 120 and 165 cm, does not require connection to an external hood
Safehood is BioAir’s ductless recirculation hood for handling volatile and hazardous chemicals, with carbon filtration, continuous air barrier control, and three width options allowing you to create a protected workspace without connecting to an external exhaust system.
The microprocessor maintains the desired speed of the input barrier regardless of the position of the front glass and continuously displays the flow state. Light and sound alarms warn of slowing speed, improper position of the glass, fan malfunction and filter saturation. High-capacity filters with activated carbon are selected for the desired level. A specific group of substances: organic solvents, formaldehyde, ammonia, inorganic acids, mercaptans, mercury vapors or esters. An additional protective carbon filter increases resistance to piping; standby mode reduces flow and energy consumption; work surfaces are available from AISI 304, ceramics or polypropylene.
Models Safehood 75, 120 and 165. Power - 230 V, 50/60 Hz; power - 420, 800 and 1170 W. Processed air flow - 300, 550 and 800 m3 / h; average frontal barrier speed > 0.4 m / s, the setting point of 0.5 m / s Dimensions - 750×720×1200, 1200 × 720 × 1200 and 1650 × 720 × 1200 mm; working chambers - 670× 550× 600, 1120 × 550 × 600 and 1570 × 550 × 600 mm Mass without. The filters are 95, 130 and 180 kg. Lighting > 800 lux, noise < 60 dB(A) Depending on the size, one, two or three basic 12-kg carbon filters are installed, the corresponding number of 4-kg protective filters and prefilters. The application of the filter is determined by the chemical substance and the volume of the process.
