Passive boxing with UV-C neutralization of DNA between PCR productions, without fan and laminar flow

Closed chamber made of tempered glass, blocking more than 98% of UV radiation

The Aura PCR is BioAir's compact passive box to prepare samples and reaction mixtures before amplification. A closed working chamber with UV-C decontamination helps reduce the risk of DNA transfer between PCR settings without taking up space with ventilation equipment.

Once the work is complete, the operator closes the three-section front glass and starts a specified UV-C cycle. Micro-switches allow ultraviolet lamps to operate only when the glass is closed; at the end of the cycle, the timer turns off the UV and puts the box into working mode with white LED lighting. The glass case delays more than 98% of UV radiation. The inner folding shelf increases the usable space, and the plastic countertop is resistant to laboratory reagents, the cabinet has no fan and does not create laminar flow.

Passive unventilated design, code PC20100. Power - 220-230 V, 50/60 Hz; power consumption - 100 W. Lighting - two LED lamps of 7 W, > 600 lux; UV-C - three T8 lamps of 15 W, peak 253.7 nm, resource 8000 hours, surface power density of one lamp at a distance of 1 m - 49 μW / cm2. UV-C timer - up to 60 minutes in increments of 1 minute and The dimensions are 650×545×730 mm, the working area is 550×470×570 mm, the maximum opening is 555×430 mm, the weight is 41 kg. Glass is tempered safe, 6 mm; the working surface is polyethylene.
