Colibri+ LB 916 is a compact microvolume UV/VIS spectrophotometer for rapid assessment of the concentration and purity of DNA, RNA and proteins from a sample of 1 μl.

Measurement takes less than 3 seconds and is performed autonomously through a 7-inch touch screen. Pre-installed protocols cover nucleic acids, A280 protein, Bradford, BCA and Lowry methods, OD600 and custom UV/VIS methods. Sample Guide Light backlight helps to pin the droplet and spot bubbles, and hydrophobic measuring The surface and the depreciable arm support reproducible optical column formation. The Colibri+ C version additionally works with divets, supports kinetics, stirring and thermostating.

Minimum sample volume 1 μl; measurement time less than 3 s. Range for dsDNA 2–20,000 ng/μl, for BSA 0.06–600 mg/ml; optical path 0.5 and 0.05 mm. Source – pulsed xenon lamp, detector – CMOS 2048 elements. Spectral range 190–1000 nm, wavelength accuracy of 1 nm brochure, band 1.3 nm, spectral resolution of 1.5 nm, absorption range 0.04-400 A in terms of 10 mm Screen 7 inches, memory 32 GB, USB-A.
