xCUBIO retrofit modernizes the control system of the existing bioreactor, maintaining a serviceable vessel, frame, fittings and actuators - without completely replacing the equipment.

The solution replaces the outdated controller, measuring amplifiers, interfaces and sensor cables with a modern xCUBIO platform, preserving mechanically serviceable components: a vessel, frame and stainless steel pipe bandage, existing sensors, valves, gas flow regulators, as well as motors and their controllers. steel fermenters of the Biostat® line manufactured by B. Braun and Sartorius with the bbi-biotech logo, as well as for other installed equipment with the technical suitability of the stored units, the typical range of upgraded units is 30, 75, 300 and 500+ liters.

The new xCUBIO platform includes sequence and valve logic graphic editors for automating typical operations without programming, temporal parameter profiles and support for complex technological recipes. Operator interface – Touchbar 19′′ with real-time process and trend visualization. Communication and integration It is provided by OPC, remote access is provided through built-in VNC, data is uploaded in CSV format.
