Parallel platform for bioprocesses – up to 24 vessels with a volume of 250 ml to 50 l
strain screening, environment selection and process development under identical conditions on all lines
The parallel xCUBIO multi platform combines up to 24 bioreactor vessels ranging in volume from 250 ml to 50 l to screen strains, select environments and develop processes under identical conditions on all lines.
xCUBIO multi is available in two configurations: standard - up to 12 vessels with a volume of 250 ml - 10 l with drive stirring by the motor and thermoregulation through a double wall, heating mat or Peltier elements; and high-density - up to 24 vessels with a volume of 250 ml - 50 l with magnetic stirring or airlift circulation and heating mat. The vessels are grouped into 2 (standard) or 4 (high density) per supply tower, up to 6 towers per system, and various types of vessels are supported: double-walled and single-walled glass, autoclaved steel, airlift, GL45/GLS80, with bottom drain and special geometry.
The system integrates standard bioreactor sensors pH, dissolved oxygen, pCO2, biomass/optical density, O2/CO2 exhaust gas, redox potential, electrical conductivity, pressure, temperature, foam and level - through analog and digital channels, as well as via Modbus, OPC UA/OPC DA, RS232/RS485, Ethernet and USB. xCUBIO: sequence and valve logic editors, temporal profiles, complex recipes, real-time visualization of the process on touch screen 19, manual access to actuators, alarm processing. Data is exported to CSV, OPC UA communication is available and remote monitoring over VNC is available.
