HB&L Uroquattro is Alifax’s compact rapid microbiology system for automatic microbial growth control, which reduces the waiting time for a negative result compared to traditional inoculation.
Request a quotationThe analyzer continuously records the growth of living microorganisms by laser light scattering and builds a kinetic curve with an estimate of the initial concentration in CFU / ml. Independent positions allow you to simultaneously perform different protocols - rapid urine screening, cultivation of biological fluids, monitoring residual antimicrobial activity, phenotypic sensitivity tests and MDRO screening: HB&L Culture, Sabouraud and Anaerobe kits are expanding applications to aerobic bacteria, fungi and anaerobic microorganisms.
The lineup includes a 120-position basic configuration (HB&L Uroquattro) and a 60-position lightweight configuration (HB&L Uroquattro Light). Samples are incubated at 37°C and constantly mixed; initial background measurement eliminates signals from salts, cellular elements and non-viable bacteria. For each position, the sample type, incubation time are specified. Test profile, analytical protocol and cut-off threshold.
